The Government of Ethiopia has been implementing a comprehensive economic reform program over the past decades. This reform has resulted in remarkable economic growth leading to social and macroeconomic development. Furthermore, Ethiopia is aspiring to become a lower middle-income country by 2025. One of the critical inputs for the realization of this overarching vision is healthy and productive human capital. To utilize this for better present and future economic growth opportunities of Ethiopia and to ensure food and nutrition security in a sustainable manner, cost-effective interventions that address the food and nutrition security of the nation are fundamental.Policy
